Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan is a landlocked country in Southwestern Asia located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. It is bounded by the Caspian Sea, Russia, Georgia, Armenia, and Iran.
The word ‘Azerbaijan’ literally means ‘protector of fire’; the country is abundant in oil and natural gas; it was a centre of fire worshipping; and fire has always been one of the symbols of our capital, Baku, which today is reflected in the amazing Flame Towers.
The capital city of Azerbaijan, Balu is positioned on the shores of the Caspian Sea at the crossroad between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The destination is primarily known for its unique fusion of historical and modern architecture.
