Kerala – Kochi, Kovalam,Kumarakom
Most of us know, Kerala is known as the Gods Own Country. Not many of them know why. We too had no idea, till we went there and experienced Kerala. And yes Kerala is an experience. Lush green fields, Coconut Trees everywhere, small creeks flowing with smaller boats on fishing trips, lip smacking delicacies, warm smiling people, beautiful huge homes and many more.
While Kerala has all the above it also has varied landscapes and you will be amazed at each and every place you visit.
Fort Kochi is known for its Dutch, Portugese and British colonial architecture. A beautiful seaside village, it is also famous for the huge Chinese fishing nets. Various attractions like Mattancherry Palace, Santa Cruz Basilica make this a very interesting and unique place to visit.
Kumarakom a village on Vembanad Lake is laced with small canals where you experience some amazing Water Boat stays. Kumarakom also has a Bird Sanctuary that houses Siberian Storks and Cuckoos amongst other birds.
Kovalam near Thiruvananthapuram is a small coastal town. It has some of the most pristine beaches in India. It is very famous with the tourists and when you have beautiful beaches, you are sure to find prettier resorts and amazing seafood.
