The staple food of Ladakhi people are Sku and Thukpa (made of wheat flour), Pava (made of sattu) and khambir (local bread). Tourists can try Ladakhi food that is rich in flavor and it includes Thukpa which is a thick soup that is prepared with vegetables.

Day 1 :

Srinagar

We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Later in the day, you can visit the beautiful Mughal Garden and return to your hotel. Dinner followed by Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 2 :

Srinagar – Kargil

Post breakfast we will be making our way towards Kargil. On the way we shall make stops at Sonmarg, a beautiful little valley. Zojila pass, Drass Village, War Memorial Hall and Vijaypath Museum. Reach Kargil by evening, and checkin to your hotel. Dinner followed by overnight stay at Kargil.

Day 3 :

Kargil – Lamayuru – Leh

Early breakfast and we hear towards Leh today. We will be passing through Lamayuru, and you can stop here to click some photos or just marvel at the unique landscape. We will also pass the famous Magnetic Hill on our way to Leh. Reach Leh by evening and rest. Dinner followed by overnight stay at Leh

Day 4 :

Leh Local Sightseeing

Today we will explore Leh. Visit the Alchi Monastery and Sangam view. You may also visit the Gurudwara Pathar and some other unique places. Enjoy the evening at Mall Road, hop to different cafes and explore the beautiful city. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 5 :

Leh – Nubra Valley

We cross the Khardung La, and make our way to Nubra Valley today. The view from the passes that you will be crossing today will be mesmerizing to say the least. You will also see Hunder, an area of Rolling sand dunes, watch double hump camels roam around. Overnight stay at Hunder camps.

Day 6 :

Nubra Valley to Pangong:

After breakfast, we will take you to your next destination, i.e. Pangong Lake, via Shyok and onto Tangtse and Spangmik. It’s a short cut and it’s a beautiful route. We will reach Pangong lake in the afternoon, and you can enjoy the rest of day at the Lake. Overnight stay at the camps at Pangong Lake.

Day 7 :

Pangong to Leh

Make sure you wake up early and catch the sunrise at Pangong. Watch how the water reflects the Sunrays and you may notice how it glistens like a diamond. We will be driving back to Leh and on the way you can visit couple of Monasteries. On reaching Leh you can explore the colorful markets and enjoy shopping in the evening. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 8 :

Leh departure

After your breakfast we will take you back to your airport from your onward flight, with a hope that you would have enjoyed the holiday and would come back for more.
