Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival at Leh airport
Arrival at Leh Airport, to be greeted and received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day rest. Later evening visit to Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at Leh
Day 2 :
Leh Sangham - Hall of Fame - M.Hill -Leh
After breakfast, drive to Sangam. Full day excursion to Magnetic Hill and Sangam view where Indus and Zanskar river meet. On the way visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Afternoon you would be driven back to visit Hall of Fame. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 3 :
Leh to Nubra Valley (130 kms/4-5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley (known as the Valley of Flowers) via Khardung Pass (highest motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). Enroute admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow capped mountain ranges around K-Top. After spending some time at K-Top proceed to Nubra. After hotel check-in, enjoy the Camel ride at Sand Dunes at own cost, between Diksit and Hunder VIllage. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 4 :
Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder
After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place annexed by India only after 1971 war. The village of Turtuk is the one of the only Balti Villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. The village with the whole population of Muslims still resembles mini-Pakistan. The village's inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stone. Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers views of beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 Mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Stay at Turtuk.
Day 5 :
Turtuk to Pangong Lake (155 kms / 4-5 kms)
After breakfast checkout and leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft approx 6-7 hrs drive en route visit Diksit Monastery and Maitre Buddha Statue. Arrive at camp, later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the Sun set on the banks of lake. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
Day 6 :
Pangong - Leh
Breakfast On the way, you can halt at the richest and the largest monastery of Ladakh, Hemis Monastery. Afternoon arrival in Leh, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Later, you can indulge in shopping for souvenirs for your loved ones back home.
Overnight stay in Leh.
